I’ve been using these for years- they are really convenient if it takes you several days to finish a bottle of wine. I’m no wine aficionado, but I do believe this keeps the wine fresher than simply shoving the cork back in. The only issue I’ve ever had is when trying to use this on a bottle with a smaller opening. If the bottle opening looks smaller than usual, don’t force the lever down as this could cause it to break. Normal sized bottles won’t give you any issues.
